The company was formed in May of 1992, originally as Carbon Dioxide Industries. It evolved from mergers and equipment development to CO2 Air Equipment, Inc. in May of 1994. Having grown to over 1.8 million gross sales, the company moved to their modern manufacturing facility in Cumming, Georgia in 1999, and combined the carbon dioxide delivery side of the business, taking the name CO2 Air, Inc. in January 2002. In 2017 CO2 Air was acquired by American Welding & Gas, Inc. (AWG). The company specializes in dry ice pellet extruders and block presses plus related carbon dioxide equipment along with the delivery of liquid carbon dioxide.

N. Allen Wood - President

Mr. Wood has over 30 years in the industry. Prior to joining the company in 1993, the major part of his career was with Carbonic Industries. He held various positions in service, equipment sales management and new equipment development.

Daniel J. Rosewall - Vice President

Mr. Rosewall has over 25 years experience in the electrical, hydraulic, and machine design fields. Following his service in the United States Marine Corps, he has worked for Lockheed Aeronautical Systems and Fisher/Rosemount.

Kenneth Driskell - Distribution Center Manager

Mr. Driskell has over 30 years experience in logistics and manages all Liquid CO2 distribution for CO2 Air, Inc.+

Justin McDowell – Vice President of Sales

Mr. McDowell has over 20 years of experience in the industrial gas industry. Prior to joining CO2 Air, he held various positions with Praxair

John Sharp – Vice President of Manufacturing

Mr. Sharp spent most of his career with Flowmaster before joining CO2 Air. In 2018. He has an extensive background in robotic operation, welding and programming.
